Sign-up today by filling out the Senior Fitness Registration Form (PDF) and drop it off at the Senior Activities Office.

Senior Fitness Classes


Cardio Drumming


  • Mondays and Thursdays: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. 
  • Class Fee: $5 
  • Rent-A-Station (ball, bucket, drum sticks, etc.) - Additional $5

Yoga

 

 
  • Mondays: 5 p.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Fridays: 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
  • Cost: $2.00 per class
  • Drop-in - All Are Welcome!
  • Sign up at the Maplewood Center

Aerobics


  • Tuesdays and Thursdays: 8:45 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.
  • Cost: $3.00 per class
  • Includes workouts with balance balls, weights and other equipment, which is supplied

The Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program


Gentle activities to help increase joint flexibility and range of motion to maintain muscle strength, and to increase overall stamina.
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays: 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
  • Cost:  $1.00 suggested donation per class

Arthritis Tai Chi Class


  • Beginner Level, Wednesdays: 11:45 p.m. - 12:45 p.m.
  • Advanced Level, Wednesdays: 1 p.m. - 2 p.m.

​Groove

Groove is the type of class that allows everyone to create a workout that is just right for their body. In each 5 minute routine, you will do a    couple of easy dance moves that work your whole body. Rather than just  following the instructor, the instructor will teach you how to make each movement perfect for your body, no matter what your fitness level, and no matter what limitations you have that day. Every time you Groove, you can do as many of the short dance workouts as you want, but you will never be asked to do something that hurts because there’s never a reason to add pain or stress to your body. You will do exactly what feels right for you, and you will see incredible results.
