INFORMATION REGARDING THE EFFECT OF THE CORONAVIRUS STATE OF EMERGENCY ON THE MAY 5TH ELECTION

Vote Please

Based on the information available to the City at this time and per the instructions from the Michigan Secretary of State’s office, all registered voters in Garden City will receive an absentee ballot application for the May 5, 2020 election.  The application will include postage to return the application to receive an absentee ballot.

As of March 24, the Secretary of State’s office has not made a decision whether physical polling places will be allowed to open on May 5, 2020.  Please fill out the application and return the City Clerk.  A ballot will be sent with a postage paid return envelope so that all mailing costs will covered by the State for this election.

The City of Garden City will update residents as information becomes available
